Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone - I hope it will be a healthy and prosperous year filled with lots of stitching!

I had a new start over the holidays - it is 'Girl from Alhambra' by Stoyanka Ivanova of the Solaria Gallery. I absolutely love this piece and it is really fun now that I have started work on her face!
Here is what the end product should look like - isn't she beautiful?
I still have this week off before I go back to work - lucky me!
Have a great week and Happy Stitching!

Oh, she is just lovely, Michelle--what a lot of stitches!!! You've already made a great start on her. I can't say that I've ever stitched a piece that has solid stitches like that...is it difficult? It looks like there are a lot of color changes in her face...

She is beautiful indeed. Looks like a daunting task to stitch her, but I'm sure it will be worth the effort.

Have a great 2010!
