It is finally December and the weather and the Christmas spirit is heating up here in Cape Town! I have some Christmas stitching and finishing to share.
I really enjoyed stitching this LHN ornament from this year's Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue. It is called 'Fresh Fallen Snow' and is stitched on self-dyed fabric in DMC threads and finished as a hanging ornament, backed with red fabric.
I'm working on a lovely piece by Atelier Soed Idee - it is called 'Scandinavian Christmas' and I'm stitching it on self-dyed fabric in the recommended DMC colours. The suggested finish is a Christmas card holder, but I think I might finish it as a pillow.
That is all for now - I'm off to visit some blogs :)
Until next time - Happy Stitching!
Michelle

They are lovely Michelle - I adore the Tra La La one xx
Wonderful job on your ornaments, Michelle! Don't you love that LHN design--I don't know if I'll get around to stitching it this year, but it's definitely on my "must stitch" list :)
I love your finishes and also your WIP. The Tra la la is especially dear to me, I have stitched it for my parents two years ago.
Scandinavian Christmas... it can only be beautiful! Looking forward to see it finished :)
I love that Tra la la design - I've wanted to stitch it for SO long! Maybe I'll treat myself to it one of these days! I love how you finished it.
What gorgeous finishing you have done on your ornaments! I love them :)
And that Tra-La-La...is pretty as a picture!

I love the trim on Fresh Fallen Snow. It's as if the design is resting on a snow bank. It's lovely. :)
